I won a trip to Cuba! All-inclusive! Even the flights! From Montreal! Woo-hoo!

The perks of working in the travel industry mean that they draw travel prizes as Christmas gifts!

[personal profile] jpwic is ecstatic too! But he needs to get his passport!

I need to brush up on my good-for-nothing Spanish!

Which is a shame, Spanish being a Romance language and all, my Japanese is actually better than my Spanish, even though my mother tongue is French!

Woo, so happy for you! My partner and I went to Cuba for our honeymoon, and it was awesome...and eye-opening in many ways.

Oh boy, yes... we think we have it rough, but, seriously, we don't! My stepsister and her husband also went there on their honeymoon, but they actually stayed in a small inn/hostel in Havana, instead of the large tourist-y resorts. They're back-packers and my brother-in-law is even more used than she is to traveling in hostels and the like, so they do their research thoroughly.

They went to Eastern Africa in 2009. I was so jealous!
