Come July...
Nov. 12th, 2010 09:22 amI am moving out!
I can't stand living in that building anymore! If it isn't one thing, it's another. But now, I've had it. I think we're up to 15 false fire alarms since I moved there in March 2008, and seriously, it's starting to have me on edge.
Even though I know it's probably a false alarm, I still get to run out in my pajamas, grab my bird (I'm lucky I didn't get bitten, this time, she usually bites me pretty hard when I need to put her in her carrier with the alarms blaring), and get out in the middle of the night. It isn't fun!
I got maybe 5 hours of sleep last night. Maybe.
And I was already exhausted from my week.
The owners aren't doing anything to rectify the situation, which, as per the fire department, appears to be caused by some short or contact that happens for an unknown reason, so it's constant stress of whether there is going to be another alarm, false or real.
