I have toothache and no patience, right now.

ilthit I will reply to your question regarding that character I've been writing when I can form coherent thought again, LOL.

As Spengler would put it: "I am terrified in pain beyond the capacity for rational thought" right now.

I have, on my bedside table, a bottle of benzocaine 20% solution to rub on my gums if the pain reaches a paroxysm again overnight. Which I am hoping it doesn't.

At the moment, it feels like a faint stabby thing inside my right ear... kind of strange, but I know it's from that dratted toothache, even though it doesn't hurt inside my mouth, just in my ear, at the moment.

I have an early wake-up call tomorrow, so, going to bed now.

Ibuprofen seems to be doing the trick on its own, this morning... but I need to make calls to set up an appointment, preferably before I have another episode like Saturday night, OMG THE PAIN!

I still have benzocaine with me at all times in case it comes back with a vengeance, but yeah.

Unlike Murray's character in Little Shop of Horrors, I do not get off on dental pain, LOL.

I'd keep the heavy meds with me if I was you, something could happen to it that sends you into constant pain before you get to your appointment.

Yeah, I have both ibuprofen gelcaps and the topical benzocaine solution with me right now.

I hate toothache! Saturday night, the pain was so intense, at one point, that I was mildly nauseated from it. It was very strange.

:( *sympathy* I know what that's like. Not toothache (mine have been mild in comparison to some other pains, luckily), but nausea from pain. It is weird and anything but nice. Sorry!

Nausea from headaches (migraines, especially), and from menstrual cramps, I am well acquainted with. I've also been mildly nauseated from dislocating my knee last summer, though that may have been just the fact that I felt it both dislocate, then pop back into place on its own. Grossest feeling ever.

Nausea from toothache was a first. It wasn't intense, just a mild sicky-sick feeling in the pit of my stomach. Just enough to think "Hey, I don't feel so great...".
