1. I used to want to be a chemist or an astrophysician. That was partly due to the fact that I aced science without cracking a book open, and could practically recite Carl Sagan's "Cosmos" by heart by the time I was 12. I have since then forgotten more than what most people ever learn about science in a lifetime.

2. I filmed, co-directed, edited and sound engineered my first video at the age of 15. It was for English as a Second Language. That was when I decided I wanted to go into filmmaking.

3. I made out with my good friend's brother for the most part of a night, when me and the guy were both 18. Believe it or not, he kissed much better than the only boyfriend I ever had.

4. I didn't like dances and nearly did not go to Prom in High School. I ended up going, but only because parents were allowed and my good friends were all going. I had a blast and danced my first slow with my best guy friend. To this day, I still wish something had developped out of that, it didn't because he got his heart broken by the other girl he liked... he liked me as well. *pouts*

5. I used to be terrified, and I mean, unable to sleep terrified, of earthquakes. I don't know what the issue was, but I stopped overnight when I first got my pet bird.

6. Birds appear to love me. They only fly away, and I mean wild birds, like sparrows among others, if I insist on wanting to bring my face up to them. Otherwise, they will mind their own business, as long as I mind mine. I can approach a bird within a three foot radius from them. It makes for startling moments when humming birds decide they like the scent of my hair.

7. I can now see sylphides as bubbles of blue light floating about lazily, and salamanders as sparks of orangey yellow light flying around in all directions. It's even cooler than it sounds and not startling at all. They're respectively air and fire elementals.

8. I was brought up Catholic, with a strong emphasis on Angel/Saints/Ancestor worship. I also was brought up around clairvoyant people and healers. I take pride in being what I call a Catholic Witch having converted to Paganism.

9. I can find water using dowsing rods. It's actually pretty cool. My stepdad's uncle taught me how.

10. I absolutely love green vegetables such as brussel sprouts, cabbage and broccoli, among others, and have loved them since childhood. On the other side, I hate cooked carrots and rutabaga, but will plow through a plateful of them in no time if they're served to me raw.
