And I am bored... Bored, bored, bored.
Fabiola was supposed to go to the supermarket today, to pick up loo paper, milk, bread, butter, margarine, and boxes of mac&cheese, and bottles of juice (hmmm, cranberry...). I am planning on making warm & spicy apple juice for Mabon, and maybe even a cake with apples and cinnamon at the bottom.
She made peach/mango smoothies with vanilla soy milk in it, yesterday, and that was yummy. We should make something like that all the time, to drink for breakfast. And I cooked tunafish patties for dinner yesterday. Those were great. I do the cooking more often than I expected, and I am starting to actually enjoy it, because, whenever I cook, Fabiola says I shouldn't do the dishes, so she does them. Without the cleaning up process, I am finding out that I don't hate cooking quite as much as I did. And I am feeling quite creative with food.
When the cold weather starts up, we're going to be cooking soups with good stuff in it, like barley seeds, and lots of veggies. Samhain will find me making pumpkin sweet bread and pumpkin soup. Hmmm, a corn and chicken cream soup for Mabon would be great too! *notes in datebook*
Okay, okay, as you can tell, there's more of a Hobbit in me than anything else. *pouts* But I am cooking healthy, balanced meals, rather than cooking rice and eating it with a ton of butter thrown into it.
Oi, and I love vanilla yoghurt.
La la la... Dom...
