Well, Happy Belated Birthday To Me!

I actually turned 25 in district 21's Police station... evening between August 1st and 2nd. Not that I was the one getting arrested. However, I was helping getting someone arrested!

Here is the thing, we (athena5897, Victor and I) were at McGill station and I was arguing with Athie over a bus transfer voucher when some tall, skinny arsehole started yelling at us to move, when, mind you, there was plenty of room for him to step around us, or he could at least have said it a little nicer or something, so, of course, I had to hiss at him, which I find is a pretty non-committal noise, for me, or anyone for that matter. Well, bum face had to stop halfway down the stairs, and WAITED for us. Now, I don't know if he overheard me mentioning that I wanted to get off at St-Laurent or if he randomly stepped off at the same station we did, but he did!

And when we got to bus #55's stop, he started actually saying stuff like "I got a fucking .22 on me, try me! I have 9 man bullets on me, I will blow everyone's fucking head off..." and so forth. So I started really getting scared, and Athie got pissed off. Lucky for us, it was the FrancoFolies Festival downtown and three policemen (two cadets and one officer) were doing circulation at the intersection. Athie walked up to them first, after the asshole leaned over me to obviously threaten me directly, although he never did it verbally. Then I joined her across the street, and Victor took forever to join us, I actually had to yell at him from across the street for him to move his arse over.

Well, turns out that the officer called for backup. So two paddywagons came along, then about a dozen officers on foot, two cop cars and about half a dozen cadets, who actually stayed with us to shelter us in case something happened, as they were not armed nor had bulletproof vests. They arrested the guy, who refused to provide ID, so, even though his firearm story was bullshit, he still spent the night in the station's cell. And I decided to press charges! I will be going to court within aproximately a year for this shit. And I am goddamn doing the right thing. And he better not come after me, because I am taking up on martial arts classes again starting this fall. This had never fuckin' happened to me before and it will never fucking happen to me again.

Meh, I'm fine, just going to court regarding this within the year. I mean, I'm doing this because I'm a good citizen and this type of behavior should not be accepted.
