When Disney's The Lion King overlaps with The Lord Of The Rings

Yup... Serendipity's weird thought of the day...

Whenever I see the scene where King Theoden tells Aragorn, and I may be paraphrasing a little, here: "When last I looked, Theoden, not Aragorn, was King of Rohan..." and see Aragorn's facial expression, after, I always feel like blurting out Simba's famous "Oh I just can't wait, to be kiiiing!"

Another thing, "Can You Feel The Love Tonight" should be renamed to The Aragorn and Arwen Theme Song... I mean, duh...

LOL! I have done that before, with I Just Can't Wait To Be King! Of course, there is a slightly edited version that sometimes filks its way around my head, and you ought to replace KING with Thain, in that title...

I have noticed... that you call Disney a lot. Still for that one cruise? Or is it something else?

Another cruise, actually. I work for a res center, cruise department, and Disney Cruises is just one of the products we offer. It's fun, though, most of their reservations agents are friendly, and they always have Disney music on when we're on hold. Lately, I've been hearing a lot of The Lion King (aren't we getting close to its 10 year anniversary?) and the soundtrack for the Pirates Of The Caribbean ride (gee, I wonder why!).

Oh I just can't wait to be Thain! heee! and Rowan Atkinson would be playing WHAT exactly in this one? (he does Zazu, and he's also Mr Bean, and he's so fucking funny!)
