Woops, I guess this is what I get for not checking my reading list for two weeks!
Man, Suomenusko. I don't think I can ever join in because of it's country and culture specific nature. I'm very fond of the stories and the heritage, but I'm a country-hopper. I won't always be able to tap into this swampy ground and its histories. Also I'm afraid it, like Asatru, will be tainted by the odd racist, and I don't really want to have to deal with that.
I tried getting in touch with the Pagans around here, but I've let it drop.
By the way, the professor whose course I quoted extensively from has published his book - in Finnish, but still. I'm looking forward to getting it from the library once it becomes available.
