I've always loved to shoot monsters...
I'm having the theme from the first level of the original Kid Icarus videogame stuck in my head.
That game was fun! My cousins and I could play it for hours!
Now, instead of shooting arrows at creatures, I use proton streams, boson darts, stasis streams, mood slime, other obscurely-named particle-based attacks, and traps. But I'm still shooting monsters!
It just sounds a lot more scientific and sophisticated and less mythical.
