serendipity8791I had this perfect ficlet in my mind. But I couldn't write it, not even on the sly, because we're behind at work (because the contracts were sent to us late, per usual), and I had to enter rates in the system all day at quadruple speed.
And now, that fleeting perfect moment of writing zone is gone, and it's coming out clunky and awkward.
*headdesks repeatedly*
It's in these moments that I wish I was still in reservations. While I'm waiting on hold or waiting for calls, I could just write fiction all day. In data entry, my hands are occupied all the time.

At least I bring home some of the metaphorical bacon?
