I liked possessed!Louis in the film, he was funnier. I'd love to see bloopers from the scene where Egon is testing and interrogating Louis. There are a couple of bits where Harold Ramis looks on the verge of losing it and bursting out laughing.
At least, Dana seems to like Venkman, at least, until their break up between the two films. Oh yeah, and she does take him back in the second film. And rumour has it that we'll find out in GBIII that baby Oscar actually is Venkman's kid, and that she was already pregnant when she got married, which doesn't make sense from a chronology point of view. It's too much "Superman Returns" for my tastes.
I think there was a scene in the original script, from when the character was written for John Candy, where he accidentally-on-purpose dumped a plate of spaghetti on a woman, just so he could "help" her wipe it down. I'm so glad that was cut out, haha. LSH was released two years after GB, so I would not be surprised if Louis influenced Seymour, actually.
