If Louis was still possessed, it explains why he was so popular and successful. Vinz Clortho seemed to give him a certain amount of pep.
I do remember thinking in the original film that he should learn to read body language. Venkman's worse, but it must not be fun being Dana, not even able to walk across the hall without being mooned after.
Aw, I'm glad he wasn't made sleazier, though. Rick Moranis also has a kind of sweetness, it's why I like him. I wonder if there was some conflating with LSH's Seymour in the characterization after he was cast?
