So, yesterday, John and I had frozen pizza for dinner. But there were onions on said pizza (we got a deluxe, with pepperoni, sausage, bell peppers, black olives and... onions). I picked most of the onions off, but there apparently were still some on the pizza.
So I feel like crap this morning. I just need to... um... evacuate stuff, and I'll be fine when I'm done with that, it's just unpleasant in the meantime.
Why do I do this to myself? Why do I forget to read labels? I read labels for my other food issues (allergies AND intolerances, because I'm a big bag of fun like that), but I forget to check for onions. And they are likely to be in most prepared foods.
And, believe it or not, between the lactose intolerance and the onion intolerance, the worst one is the onions, as I can eat moderate amounts of cheese and yogurt and not be sick. I get up at night to be sick when I have onions.
Ugh... *clutches at gut*
