Jun. 3rd, 2011 10:50 amYesterday, I read my first Peter/Ray fic, and it had tons of background Egon/Janine, which made my little shipper heart swell and explode!
The fic was a one-shot, and spanned from their time in grad school together until post GB2, in which Ray had been wanting Venkman for 20 years.
So we went from Egon not noticing girls, to him noticing (and, eventually, wanting) Janine, them easing into a relationship, them finally sleeping together (which triggered for Egon to go from his stoic GB self, to his smiling and more relaxed GBII self), to them eventually ending their romantic relationship, but keeping on having casual sex together, and eventually, having a three-way fling with Louis Tully (at which point I was all, bzuh? but hey, it was still E/J!).
But yeah, even though the fic was Peter/Ray-centric, it still made this little Egon/Janine shipper happy!
