Wow...

The soymilk in my latté is oddly bitter today. On the other hand, I was the third person in a row to order a soy latté (instead of cow's milk).

Either it was a bad batch, or the thing is getting old. At least, I won't have tummy troubles from it later.

I already avoid Second Cup because their soymilk has always been oddly bitter.

I've also brought myself two types of tea (I have been tea-less for several months, and forced to drink the horrible tea from work... come to think of it, I should also bring some instant coffee from home, because ANYTHING is better than our office coffee). One is an immune booster tea (hey, it is cold/flu season), and the other is Raspberry-Pomegranate Green Tea, with Matcha by Stash.

I love that second one and drink it like it's going out of style.

Almost every year, usually when the weather starts feeling more like late-Autumn, I get the urge to start eating super healthy (I think most people get that urge in late-Spring and Summer), and eliminating junk from my diet altogether.

Not a bad thing, in and of itself.

My food (and food blog) interests go more towards vegetarianism, strict vegetarianism and veganism, though I am in no way militant and do not have the patience to research everything (such as beauty products and the like).

I'm currently craving rich, filling, chunky tomato-based vegetarian stew-like things. And vegetarian chili. And whole grain pasta with loads of vegetables. And crusty multigrain breads. And... well, you get the idea.

I think a total clean-up of my kitchen (and fridge, omg the fride is horrific, right now), is in order, so that I can start cooking again. As much as I hate to do it.

This is the immune booster tea I was talking about earlier.

Obviously, it's got echinacea in it, so people with hay fever, be cautious, as you could be allergic to it. (I have hayfever, but I am not allergic to echinacea.)

I've finally decided on the general direction I want to give this blog.

I want it to be about fiction I write, my re-discovering the joy of artistic endeavours, my moving from an omnivore diet to a more animal- and planet-friendly, plant-based one (no offense meant if you aren't on the same wavelength there, and I don't believe I'll ever be offended by other people eating things I've decided to consciously stop eating), my chosing to exercise to keep my body healthier for longer (again, no offense meant or taken), my spirituality...

Basically, just life in general. Yeah?

Less griping, more joy. Because I need more joy in my life, and if I output negativity, how can I attract joy?

That is all.

:)

ETA: I forgot fandom! Fandom, fandom, fandom! Of course it'll keep on being about fandom as well! :)
