Gothika...
Nov. 20th, 2003 09:43 amI don't get the name... I really don't get the name...
Anyhow, I will not spoil this one for you guys. It was a rather intense hour and a half, though it had a sort of slow start, but when the stuff starts happening, it STARTS happening and doesn't let the viewers down.
Halle Berry was gorgeous (at least in the beginning and the end, because she looked quite harrassed for most of the movie... LOL) and the woman's got quite an arse on her... *pets* She was also brilliant and quite convincing.
Robert Downey, Jr. was great. I've loved him since he was in Chaplin.
The surprise of the evening was Bernard Hill, who played the director of the penitentiary (which was also a mental hospital, might I add). He had a very small role, though sort of pivotal in the end. I was delighted to see him there, and it made me want December 17th to arrive even more. I actually came this close to squeeing...
On another note... Hobbitses on TRL... I hate you Americans... *pouts* Lucky wenches...
