Time to go home...
Nov. 6th, 2003 05:39 pmBut I don't feel like taking the bus/subway all the way there... *pouts*
We visited an apartment on Monday... it was a 5 1/2, which, here in Quebec either means it's either a 3 bedroom apartment, or it's a 2 bedroom with kitchen, dining room, and living room (plus the 1/2 which is the bathroom) or a 2 bedroom with a kitchen and double living room/dining room (and the 1/2, which is the bathroom again). Turned out it was a 2 bedroom with a double living room (that could not even have fitted a dining room in it) a kitchen, plus the bathroom. Yeah, okay... There's three of us roommates and we could not afford the apartment only two of us. So we said thank you, but no thanks.
What I liked is that it was an OLD building, and one of our teachers lives there, with her husband (who's like our part-time teacher, and REALLY nice! *psst* he got married in a kilt and he likes the Aragorn VSD!).
Other than that, I called the cops on my landlord for showing up at 11pm without phoning first and refusing to leave when I told him I didn't have the cheque for the rent, that he would have to check with my roommie for that (she's the one who handles the paying of the rent), and he then proceeded to tell me that he owned the building, therefore he's at home there if he wills and will come at any time he pleases. Uh, yeah, right.
Aside from the usual rants, LOL! I miss
danachan horribly... will have to email her soon. And I can't wait for next Friday (eeeeeeee! Bonden!Billeh!) and then the following Tuesday (eeeeeee! TTT EE!) and then the FOLLOWING Tuesday (EEEEEEEEE! singing!Pippin/singing!Billeh!) and then December 17 (*DIES*).
