But John and I officially (to us) got engaged, this weekend.
We're keeping it hush-hush for now because even though his extended family is mostly non-religious (and I have a funny story about that), I think it would weird some out that there is no ring on my finger as of yet. We're shopping, and we should buy it in a month or two.
We're probably only going to be married in 2016 or 2017, probably a civil ceremony for our families, and a separate religious handfasting at Kaleidoscope Gathering with our spiritual family. Or do a two in one by hiring a friend who is a legal officiant in this province who also happens to be Pagan.
