13) Do you have a pet or pets? What is your ideal pet?I have a 3 1/2-year-old cockatiel named Charlie. She's a big girl, around 120 grams, most pet-quality birds are around 90 to 100 grams.
My ideal pet would be a rose breasted cockatoo (galah, to the Aussies). They are SO pretty and so smart, while being a bit more aggro than 'tiels, they aren't as scary as full-sized cockatoos.
14) What TV shows are you currently watching?I am not watching anything this year, so far. Lost was the last TV show I followed. It feels liberating, as I've always had a series I followed, whether it was a cartoon or a live-action series.
15) Got any podcasts to recommend?I really, really enjoy listening to
The Wigglian Way, by Mojo and Sparrow. (Also, SQUEE they might come to Montreal for Gaia Gathering, which the local Pagan community is hosting in 2011.) They are no-nonsense, play Pagan music (some of it is actually Mojo's material, whether on his own or with the two bands he was in), with permission from the artists, and while I don't agree 100% with everything they say, I find that their explanations for why they feel a certain way about certain subjects are mostly reasonable and well expressed, and I agree to disagree as well as respect their point of view tremendously.
